Packers’ who have outperformed contract: Adrian Amos

Adrian Amos has quietly turned himself into one of the best safeties in the NFL. He’s another guy who was signed in the 2019 free agent class along with Turner, Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith.

Amos had a tremendous second-half to his 2020 season when he and Darnell Savage formed one of the better safety duos in the NFL. Following a somewhat slow start this season, he’s begun to turn it on in recent weeks. Amos can play all over the field and that versatility is helpful against the run and pass.

His 79.9 PFF grade ranks 7th out of 92 eligible safeties and his $5.97 million contact hit ranks 13th among safeties according to Spotrac.
