Packers’ unsung heroes: Adrian Amos

Adrian Amos has been one of the best Packers’ defenders this season and doesn’t get nearly the amount of love he should. Part of that could be because it’s hard to see him on television and Joe Barry moves him all over the field that it’s hard to keep track of where he’s at.

Regardless, Amos should be in the conversation of one of the better safeties in the league. After improving greatly over the second half of 2020, he appears set to do the same thing this season. His PFF grade of 79.9 ranks 7th among safeties and he’s coming off his best game of the season against the Seattle Seahawks.

Next. Packers defense will have to overcome even more injuries. dark

Amos allows Barry to move other players all over the field, as he’s extremely versatile. It also helps that he’s on the field for basically every play and is able to help some of the younger and more inexperienced players get lined up properly. It’s time Amos gets his due.
