Packers’ unsung heroes: Kevin King

*Ducks and runs for cover.

I’m sure you’ll feel some type of way for including Kevin King in this article, especially considering his historical struggles and inability to stay healthy throughout his career. They say availability is the best ability and King continues to be unable to stay on the field, playing in only five of their 10 games this year.

However, when he’s been on the field he’s been really good. Especially recently. King’s return has coincided with the Packers’ defense playing their best ball of the season. Of course, it helps the entire defense is playing well, but you can’t discount King’s role in all of that. The Packers can’t have enough good corners for the postseason when they could go up against the Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers or another high-powered offense. They’ll need King to be healthy and at his best.
