Packers shutout Seahawks: The good, bad and grade
Packers shutout Seahawks: The bad: Field goal unit, red zone offense, injuries
The Packers’ special teams makes their regularly scheduled appearance in this section. After struggling with the procedural aspects of the field goal last week–the snap and hold–it was Mason Crosby’s turn to take his lumps. He missed another field goal and this one looks like it was on him.
Green Bay’s red zone offense also continues to be a concern. Rodgers threw a horrible interception in the end zone that cost them a scoring opportunity. They were just two for five on red zone attempts in this game.
There were also a couple of injuries to key players that necessitates watching. Aaron Jones seems to be the most serious and rumors are he could’ve sprained his MCL. When he came out of the blue tent on the sideline he had tears in his eyes and went to speak with his family. Rashan Gary and Whitney Mercilus also suffered injuries in this one.
