If they go this route, there are a number of guys they could target. It’s most likely they’d look for an outfielder which puts Jorge Soler, Michael Conforto, Nick Castellanos or even Garcia as an option. If the NL adopts a DH, Nelson Cruz could also be added to that list. Japanese outfielder Seiya Suzuki is also a dark horse who is a high-risk,high-reward option.

Other guys to watch include first basemen Brandon Belt and Anthony Rizzo, utility man Chris Taylor or third baseman/utility man Kris Bryant.
