Ultimate guide to Brewers’ offseason: Potential trade candidates

Hader is obviously on this list, as we just discussed his situation. He’d command the greatest return for the Brewers, but there are other guys they could deal as well.

Jackie Bradley Jr. is one of them. He exercised his $9.5 million player option for 2022 and has a $12 million mutual option for 2023. He’s great defensively and can play all three positions in the outfield and excel in them. But he’s absolutely horrible at the plate. His down season made it difficult for the Brewers to keep him in the everyday lineup.

Keston Hiura is another candidate. He had a no good, very bad 2021 campaign and spent most of it in the minors. Now there might not be a place for him in Milwaukee with Kolten Wong at second base and Daniel Vogelbach and Rowdy Tellez at first. Perhaps, a change of scenery would help Another guy to watch is Lorenzo Cain.
