Packers’ grades at halfway point: Running back: A

When given the opportunity, Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon have formed one of the better one-two punches at running back across the NFL. When given the opportunity.

These two players complement each other nicely and are both dynamic playmakers on the ground and through the air. Dillon has been picking up steam lately and I wouldn’t be surprised to see his playing time increase as a result. Jones ranks 4th out of 64 eligible running backs according to PFF and Dillon ranks 11th. They’ve also combined for 1242 total yards and eight touchdowns.

Packers’ grades at halfway point: Fullbacks/tight ends: C

Green Bay hasn’t had as much success with their fullbacks and tight ends as they hoped coming into the season. Robert Tonyan was just beginning to pick up steam in the passing game after a very slow start to the season but will now miss the rest of the year due to a serious injury. Marcedes Lewis has been his typical stable self in the running game. Other than that, Josiah Deguara and Dominique Dafney have been very underwhelming, especially the former third-round pick.
