Big-name free agents Brewers most likely to sign: Jorge Soler, OF

The Brewers got a first-hand look at how dangerous Jorge Soler can be when they faced the Braves in the playoffs. However, there’s also the other side of him which makes him a very risky free agent bet.

Soler has a somewhat long injury history and was in a big time slump before being traded to the Braves. Once in Atlanta, he turned it on and really found his stride in the playoffs when he was named the World Series MVP.

He would be another candidate for DH, as he’s not a reliable right fielder by any means. If that rule does get put in place, it will increase his value for a team like the Brewers and increase the money he’ll likely get.
