Big-name free agents Brewers most likely to sign: Michael Conforto, OF

The Brewers and Michael Conforto have been unofficially connected a number of times and this signing is a very real possibility. His down 2021 likely cost him some money this offseason, but he still has a nice track record of success.

Conforto could fill in at either corner outfield spot and provide the Brewers with average defense. There will likely be a qualifying offer on the table from the New York Mets which could complicate the situation. However, David Stearns could strike with a one-year offer of his own to help the 29-year-old rebuild his reputation and recoup in free agency next season. They did this with Yasmani Grandal and Conforto could be the next guy in line.
