Milwaukee Brewers best-case free agents to target: Nick Castellanos, OF

Jon Heyman recently predicted the Brewers would sign Nick Castellanos in free agency, a move that would certainly mean they’re intent on adding offense for 2022.

Castellanos made his first All-Star game in 2021 by hitting .309 with a .362 on-base percentage to go along with 34 home runs and 100 RBIs. He’d be an instant hit in the middle of the Brewers’ order and provide them with a big bat they desperately need. Milwaukee would have to surrender draft picks if they sign him, something that could deter them from pursuing his services. His below-average defense is also a concern.
