How Packers can upset Chiefs: Limit big plays

Defensively, Green Bay will need to keep everything in front of them. That’s a lot easier said than done with the likes of Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman. The trio are big-plays walking and can turn the game at any moment.

Under defensive coordinator Joe Barry the Packers have done a great job at limiting explosive plays. However, this will be their biggest test yet.

Rookie cornerback Eric Stokes has been solid, but has a penchant for a rookie mistake from time to time. He can’t afford that this week. Opposite from him, Rasul Douglas has been solid and this will be another opportunity to prove he’s ready to play. If Green Bay can make the Chiefs be patient and methodically work their way down the field, it will increase their chance of a turnover.
