How Packers can upset Chiefs: Run the ball

The Chiefs’ defense, although they’ve been getting better in recent weeks and are clearly trending in the right direction, has struggled this season in stopping the run. They rank 21st in total rushing yards allowed and 26th in rushing yards per attempt.

Meanwhile, Green Bay’s rushing offense has gotten hot over the last few games and has the potential to dominate this game. Aaron Jones can break one at any time and is a very shifty runner in the holes. AJ Dillon compliments him nicely and can run through just about anyone. However, he’s not your typical big guy and can also dance around defenders.

The Packers will surely want to control the clock and keep Mahomes on the sideline. That means running the ball effectively and keeping the clock running.
