The Green Bay Packers’ season has gone relatively well so far this season, all things considered. Despite the drama before the season began and the multitude of injuries they’ve faced, they won seven of their first eight games and sit atop of the NFC. However, that doesn’t mean there haven’t been headaches along the way.

Head coach Matt LaFleur has done a great job getting his team ready to compete each and every week (minus the season-opener) and deserves a bunch of praise for his work. But these four issues have caused the biggest trouble so far this season.

These four complicated issues have been the biggest headaches for the Green Bay Packers throughout the 2021 NFL season so far.

Packers’ biggest headaches: Injuries in general

After being very healthy during the first two years of LaFleur’s tenure, the Packers have been bitten by the injury bug this season. Again, and again, and again.

It started before the regular season even began when Za’Darius Smith missed all of the preseason with a back injury. That was on top of All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari never practicing after tearing his ACL at the end of last year.

It’s continued throughout the season, as guys like Preston Smith, Jaire Alexander, Kevin King, Kingsley Keke, Elgton Jenkins, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Josh Myers, Davante Adams, Allen Lazard and now Aaron Rodgers have all missed time for various reasons. That’s a lot to deal with for any team, yet, the wins keep on coming.
