Most intriguing trade candidates for Packers: Akiem Hicks, DT, Chicago Bears

It is very unlikely two division rivals strike a deal, but this could make sense for both the Packers and the Bears. At 7-1, Green Bay has as many wins as the rest of the NFC North combined and Chicago is clearly rebuilding with Justin Fields at the helm. Might as well exchange a player for a pick and make both sides happy.

Akiem Hicks isn’t the same guy he was in his prime, but he would still easily be the second-best defensive lineman on the Packers’ roster. He’s a big body in the middle who demands double teams and constant attention from the offensive line. That would free up Kenny Clark and allow him more one-on-one opportunities. The ripple effect Hicks could have would be very intriguing to say the least.
