With the 2021 NFL trade deadline nearly here–Tuesday, November 2nd at 3 pm Central–we don’t have to wait much longer to see if the Green Bay Packers will make a move or not. General manager Brian Gutekunst has been much more aggressive this season which leads some to believe this could be the year he swings a trade.

If the Packers do make a deal, you can be sure they’re targeting certain positions they could upgrade at. Here are their three biggest needs heading into Tuesday’s deadline.

If the Green Bay Packers want to improve their team at the 2021 NFL trade deadline, they should target any of these three positions.

Packers’ biggest needs at trade deadline: Wide receiver

The Packers were without their top three wide receivers (Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Allen Lazard) in last Thursday’s thrilling victory over the Arizona Cardinals. However, they should look to add depth to the position and provide both Adams and Aaron Rodgers with some help.

Adams will continue to get double-teamed throughout the regular season and into the playoffs. It’s imperative Green Bay adds a guy who can get open consistently against single coverage. There’s a good chance that dude could be Valdes-Scantling, but he’s missed the last few weeks with a hamstring injury. Those hamstrings can be fickle beasts and linger for a while.
