The day is finally here! The 2021 NFL trade deadline is officially upon us and the Green Bay Packers need to make a move before the clock strikes 3 pm CST. What will they do?

Green Bay general manager Brian Gutekunst has been all in this season, as everything in 2022 and beyond is a big, fat question mark. Normally, a trade would be mostly off the table, but Gutekunst has already shown a willingness to add veteran free agents in the middle of the season so it’s conceivable to think he could swing a deal to help push the Packers over the top.

In order to get you ready for the big day ahead, here’s everything you need to know about the Packers potentially getting involved in a trade including their positions of need, draft assets, and targets of all sorts.

If the Green Bay Packers are going to strike a deal at the 2021 NFL trade deadline, here’s everything you need to know about a potential move.

Packers 2021 NFL trade deadline primer: Trade assets

The most likely asset Green Bay gives up in any deal is going to be a 2022 draft pick. The good news is the Packers have a plethora of selections to deal next year. They have their own first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and seventh-round picks in addition to an extra seventh they received in the Ka’Dar Hollman trade. Additionally, they are projected to receive a fourth and a sixth-rounder as compensatory picks. The only pick they don’t have is their sixth-rounder which they sent to Houston in exchange for Randall Cobb.
