Scariest Packers at halfway mark: De’Vondre Campbell

The biggest surprise, without a doubt, for the Packers this season has been middle linebacker De’Vondre Campbell. Campbell came over from the Arizona Cardinals in free agency and has been an absolute steal for the green and gold.

Campbell’s PFF grade of 86.7 is the highest on the defense, second-highest on the Packers, and first out of 86 eligible inside linebackers across the NFL. He’s been great against the run and in the passing game where he’s minimized opposing running backs and tight ends through the air. His tackling has also been superb. Campbell is one of the major reasons the Packers’ defense has been as good as they have been so far.
