Ways Packers can upset Cardinals: Pound the rock

Minus last week, Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon have been heating up on the ground and have taken over games. Head coach Matt LaFleur needs to give them every opportunity to do so against Arizona.

At the very least, it will help slow the game down and limit the number of possessions the Cardinals will have while also keeping Kyler Murray off the field.

At its best, Jones and Dillon will be able to gash a Cardinals’ defense that ranks second to last in yards per rush allowed at 5.0. Add in the fact Watt is out for this game–their best interior run defender–and it should equal success on the ground if Rodgers and LaFleur can remain patient and committed.
