Ways Packers can upset Cardinals: Protect Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay’s makeshift offensive line has done pretty well, all things considered, this season. They got a little healthier last week when Elgton Jenkins returned, but are still missing two key starters in left tackle David Bakhtiari and center Josh Myers.

The Cardinals just lost their best pass-rusher in Watt which is an absolutely huge blow for the team. That should help Green Bay keep Aaron Rodgers upright, as he’s excelled in a clean pocket this year.

The key will be on the edges. Outside linebackers Markus Golden and Chandler Jones lead Arizona in sacks with six and five, respectively. They’ll pressure Jenkins and Billy Turner and try to throw the Packers’ passing game off rhythm. Rodgers might need more time than usual to wait for a receiver to get open and it’s crucial the big guys up front provide that for him.
