Packers: 3 fun wide receiver trades to make at deadline
Packers fun trade target: Allen Robinson, Wide receiver, Chicago Bears
The Packers have also been connected with Allen Robinson for a few years, but in a more legitimate way. They tried to sign him in free agency before he chose to pay for the Chicago Bears for a bit more money. Boy, how that decision backfired.
Chicago has cycled through underperforming quarterbacks throughout Robinson’s time there and his talents have been underutilized. I hardly knew he was on the field against Green Bay a couple of weeks ago.
Robinson would be a great compliment to Adams and give Green Bay two legit number one wide receivers. That would help tremendously in the postseason when the Packers will face the best of the best. Having two guys who can break the game open at the wide receiver position is something they haven’t had since the early 2010s.
