Position Packers should target at trade deadline: Wide Receiver

Davante Adams has been a beast this season and has produced as expected. Despite double and sometimes even triple-teams, he finds a way to get open and Aaron Rodgers hasn’t had any issue getting him the ball. The latter part of that sentence can’t be applied to the other receivers on the roster, unfortunately.

The Packers are fortunate their running game has come alive, as Rodgers hasn’t had a solid connection with any receiver not named Adams. Sure, he’s found Randall Cobb a couple of times, but even that combination hasn’t been consistent.

There are a couple of wide receivers on the market Green Bay could look into. Perhaps, most notably is Brandin Cooks. Cooks is no stranger to a mid-season trade, having done it multiple times throughout his career. Cooks would immediately give the Packers a true no. 2 receiving threat defenses must respect.
