Since Jaire Alexander injured his shoulder in the Green Bay Packers’ victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers one thing is clear: Nothing is clear.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, head coach Matt LaFleur shared they are still exploring options and he doesn’t have a timeline for when Alexander can return. He did talk about surgery and said it’s likely Alexander would be out for the season if that occurs. However, it seems they are doing everything they can to avoid that scenario.

Whenever we find out more information, there are other members on the Packers who are going to need to step up in either Alexander’s absence or limited play. Let’s take a look at three guys who need to bring their A-game moving forward.

With a potentially serious injury to Jaire Alexander waiting to be sorted out, these three Green Bay Packers need to step up in his absence.

Packers who need to step up: Kevin King

This one is obvious, right? Kevin King looks set to return from a concussion that caused him to miss the last two weeks. He’s been up and down–both in his availability and ability–throughout his career, and it’s time he hits a hot streak that lasts an extended period.

Rookie cornerback Eric Stokes has shown some potential, but he’s only played in four NFL games. King has the physical tools and must put it together more consistently moving forward. Green Bay is going to be in big trouble if they get the bad version of King moving forward.
