Special teamers

New punter Corey Bojorquez has been the star of the Packers’ special teams so far this year. His directional punting is elite and he’s been able to pin opposing teams deep into their own territory. Even better, he’s setting his coverage unit up for success with solid hang time and punts that are right by the sideline. Also in the positive category is Mason Crosby and Kylin Hill as a kickoff returner.

Unfortunately, it’s an adventure in every other area. Crosby’s blockers aren’t always consistent and it’s led to some near-disasters already. The kickoff coverage unit is a major weak link and they haven’t been able to figure it out quite yet. There’s a lot to be desired from this third unit.
