Cornerbacks
The Packers look like they got a player in first-round draft pick Eric Stokes. Stokes has played with confidence and speed that has separated him from Kevin King. However, he gave up 10 receptions in Sunday’s contest against the Steelers. King has now missed the last two games, but Green Bay will need him to return soon with a potentially long-term injury to Jaire Alexander. Speaking of Alexander, he hasn’t been as invincible this year, giving up some big plays and touchdowns we aren’t used to seeing.
Grade: C
Safeties
After finishing last year on a hot streak, Darnell Savage and Adrian Amos haven’t quite been able to match that pace. Still, they’re asked to do a lot including play all over the field. Defensive coordinator Joe Barry hasn’t been afraid to move them around and ask a lot from them. Lastly, their backups haven’t been very good.
Grade: B-
