The grades:
Rodgers only completed 55 percent of his passes and wasn’t nearly as crisp as we’ve seen him in the last two weeks. The offensive line also struggled a bit with the Steelers’ vaunted pass rush, making Rodgers uncomfortable in the pocket. Thankfully, they were able to rely on a strong running game to lead the way. It wasn’t their worst performance, but it certainly wasn’t anything close to their best.
Offense: B-
Just like the offense, this was a blah day for the defense as well. They struggled at times and were completely bailed out a number of times thanks to Ben Roethlisberger’s inaccuracy. However, they were able to get enough pressure and make enough stops to hold Pittsburgh to 17 points. That’s good enough for a victory 9 out of 10 times.
Defense: B-
Next. Packers should explore adding veteran edge rusher. dark
The special team’s grade almost took a huge hit as previously noted, when they were able to avoid a blocked kick returned for a touchdown to end the first half. Bojorquez and the punting game continue to be a bright spot, but almost every other area is a near disaster.
