The Milwaukee Bucks tip-off training camp in just a few days–September 28th, to be exact–so it’s time we start previewing their roster ahead of the 2021-22 NBA season.

We’ve already reviewed their offseason to figure out what’s different and now we’ll take a look toward the future to see who can be counted on to contribute for the defending champions. As of now, Milwaukee has 19 players on their roster–they’re allowed to carry up to 20 during the offseason. However, once the regular season begins, they must get that number down to 15 plus the two two-way contracts they’re allowed to carry.

This series will be released in four installments:

  • September 24th: Bottom four guys on the roster
  • September 25th: 15 to 11
  • September 26th: 10-6
  • September 27th: 5-1

Without further ado, let’s begin at the bottom and work our way to the top!

With the Milwaukee Bucks getting ready to tip-off training camp at the end of September, let’s begin ranking their roster starting with the bottom four.

Ranking Bucks’ roster: 19: Justin Robinson (two-way)

The Bucks just filled their second two-way spot a couple of weeks ago when they signed point guard Justin Robinson. Robinson played his college ball at Virginia Tech and was in the G-League last season. He has had a couple of stints in the pros, most recently signing a couple of 10-day contracts with the Oklahoma City Thunder at the end of last year.

He’s not someone you should look too much into. At just about 24-years-old, he’s merely insurance for Milwaukee in the case of an absolute emergency at point guard. At this point, Milwaukee only has Jrue Holiday and George Hill as true point guards on their roster with Tremont Waters also on an Exhibit 10 contract (more on him later).
