Available linebackers for Packers: Adrian Clayborn, Edge

Adrian Clayborn was released by the Cleveland Browns in March as part of a cap-saving deal for the team. And here he continues to sit on the free agent market.

In 15 games for the Browns in 2020, he racked up 3.5 sacks and registered 15 quarterback pressures. Not his best work. At 33-years-old, his best playing days are behind him. However, he could help shore up the Packers’ edge rotation and earn playing time behind Preston Smith and Rashan Gary. It’s not as if the other edge linebackers on the Packers’ roster are proven NFL players so this could be a safe, cheap alternative for the Packers.
