Packers blowout loss to Saints: The Grade:

Offense: F

What else is there to say? They scored a measly three points against a unit that was missing a few key players and they looked lifeless throughout the entire contest. Green Bay’s starting offense didn’t convert a single third-down conversion and they barely moved the ball. The offensive line’s pass protection was maybe one of the only highlights–and even they struggled from time to time. There’s only one way to go from here.

Defense: F

The defense’s soft coverages have already been mentioned, but it’s worth talking about again. Kevin King and company consistently played seven to eight yards off the ball (and even that didn’t prevent him from getting burned for a deep touchdown). There was no life, aggression, or passion from this unit.

Next. Packers: 1 bold prediction for each rookie. dark

Special Teams: C+

If there’s a bright side, it’s the special teams unit I guess. They converted their only field goal opportunity and Bojorquez was pretty good. Furthermore, they didn’t give up any huge returns which is always a plus. Still, Hunter Bradley needs to figure out this snapping thing because it’s going to cost them at some point this season.
