Packers’ rookie class bold prediction: Shemar Jean-Charles will be CB4 by the end of the year.

Despite Green Bay’s weakness at cornerback, Shemar Jean-Charles has the biggest hill to climb of any rookie in this class. He had an up and down performance in training camp and wasn’t exactly inspiring with his play. As of now, he’s last on the depth chart behind Jaire Alexander, Kevin King, Eric Stokes, Chandon Sullivan, and Isaac Yiadom. Expect that to change throughout the season as he adjusts to the speed of the NFL game.

Packers’ rookie class bold prediction: T.J. Slaton will start eight games.

At the other end of the spectrum is T.J. Slaton. Slaton has popped since camp opened and has put pressure on the defensive linemen ahead of him. Originally thought to be just a big run-stopper, he’s showed some prowess as a pass-rusher as well. Slaton will only get better and better, eventually surpassing Dean Lowry on the depth chart and kicking Kenny Clark out to defensive end.
