Predicting Packers’ All-Pros: Jaire Alexander

Jaire Alexander has quickly established himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the entire NFL. His PFF grade of 90.7 was the highest-ranked cornerback in 2020 and he earned second-team All-Pro honors as a result.

Don’t be surprised to see him jump up to first-team with another strong performance in 2021. Alexander is physical, fast, and smart on defense. You can’t throw a wide receiver screen to his side of the field, as he’ll blow that baby up and turn it into a negative play for the offense.

He can also travel all over the yard to stick with an opposing team’s best receiver. That’s something he might have to do more of this year considering Green Bay’s woes at the other cornerback spots. He showed off some ball skills with two interceptions in the NFC Championship game. Don’t be surprised to see more of that if the ball goes his way this season.
