Predicting Packers’ top positional battles: Cornerback

These last two positions have been two of the most fun to watch in Green Bay. Although we haven’t seen much of the Packers’ top corners, they’ve shown how deep they are at the position by showcasing guys like Kabion Ento, Isaac Yiadom and Shemar Jean-Charles.

Fortunatley for Jean-Charles, he’ll probably make the roster along with Jaire Alexander, Kevin King, Eric Stokes and Chandon Sullivan. That leaves the final spot down to Ento and Yiadom. Both players have strong cases to make the roster in their own right and it will be fascinating to see which direction Green Bay goes.

I’ll give the nod to the former third-round pick Yiadom. He was acquired in the trade for Josh Jackson, and has done just enough to get that final sixth cornerback spot. I also hope the Packers get Ento onto their practice squad as he has nice potential down the road.
