Packers: Predicting outcomes of top 4 positional battles

Predicting Packers’ top positional battles: Outside Linebacker

Randy Ramsey’s season-ending injury earlier in camp, made this battle possible. Za’Darius Smith, Preston Smith and Rashan Gary are locks for the roster. Jonathan Garvin is also a good bet.

That leaves the final spot down to three players: Tipa Galeai, Delontae Scott and Chauncey Rivers. Unfortunately, nobody has really separated themselves from the pack (no pun intended) which makes this decision even more difficult. Galeai could become the best pass-rusher of the trio, but hasn’t proven it consistently. Rivers probably has the edge at this point given his overall body of work. However, I predict they cut all three and pick someone up from waivers to fill the fifth outside linebacker spot.
