Green Bay Packers QB: Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is playing in 2021, and that means he will be a fantasy stud again. However good Rodgers may be, he is a better real-life QB than in fantasy. What I mean by this is that I do not advise reaching too high for the reliable signal-caller. Rodgers’ will more than likely have another great season, but a touchdown regression is probable, therefore lessening his fantasy value.

I am by no means saying Rodgers is a bad fantasy quarterback. He is still one of the league’s best and will put up gaudy passing numbers at an efficient clip. My only hesitations or concerns about the 37-year-old quarterback is that running quarterbacks have a much higher potential in fantasy football scoring. A guy like Lamar Jackson has a significantly lower ceiling for passing numbers, but his rushing ability makes him an advantageous target for fantasy teams.

I fully expect Rodgers to throw for more than 4,500 yards, be right around 40 touchdowns, and have less than 10 interceptions. His play will put him in the top 8 fantasy quarterbacks and be a stable and consistent option to lead your team each week.

I suggest drafting Rodgers amongst the second tier of fantasy quarterbacks after guys like Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Kyler Murray, and Dak Prescott are off the board.
