Packers key position to watch in final preseason game: Running back

Running back is probably all locked up considering Kylin Hill’s performance as the RB3 throughout the preseason. Still, it’s fun to watch the rookie play. He’s extremely versatile and can make plays in a plethora of situations. Keep your eye on him for some great entertainment.

Packers key position to watch in final preseason game: Wide receiver

Wide receiver may be all but settled, but there’s still an outside chance there’s a shakeup based on the results of this game. Malik Taylor benefitted from Devin Funchess’s unfortunate injury and has the lead as the sixth receiver on the Packers’ roster. However, don’t count Juwann Winfree out just yet. Winfree was off to a strong start to training camp before an injury cost him these last couple of games. If he returns and has a strong performance, he’ll push the Packers to make a decision.

Packers key position to watch in final preseason game: Tight end

There are a couple of Packers’ tight ends whose futures are at stake in the final game. Josiah Deguara, Marcedes Lewis and Robert Tonyan are all locked into their jobs. However, the final tight end spot will come down to Dominque Dafney and Jace Sternberger. The coaching staff hasn’t been pleased with Sternberger’s inability to grasp the offense in Year 3 and he begins the season with a two-game suspension. The latter could allow Green Bay to kick the can down the road and wait until Week 3 to make a decision. A strong performance by either could make their decision easier, however.
