Cornerback Kabion Ento (48) warms up during Green Bay Packers training camp at Ray Nitschke Field Wednesday, July 31, 2019, in Ashwaubenon, Wis.Gpg Packers Training Camp 073119 Jc0149 /

Packers key position to watch in final preseason game: Cornerback

The Packers have multiple difficult decisions to make in the secondary and each one could impact the other. At cornerback, they have five players apparently locked in: Jaire Alexander, Eric Stokes, Kevin King, Chandon Sullivan and Shemar Jean-Charles.

Fighting for the final spot includes Kabian Ento and Isaac Yiadom. Yiadom was acquired from the New York Giants in exchange for Josh Jackson and is most likely behind Ento at this point. However, it’s not a given Green Bay decides to keep six corners so Ento must have another strong performance if he wants a roster spot.

Packers key position to watch in final preseason game: Safety

Sticking with the secondary, there’s a lot to play out at safety in this final preseason game. Henry Black has been great in the preseason and probably has the no. 3 job locked up. But who will the Packers keep as their fourth? Will they even go with five?

With Will Redmond on the injured reserve, the door is open for Vernon Scott, Christian Uphoff and Innis Gaines to battle it out. Scott likely has the lead for the fourth spot which will leave a furious battle between Uphoff and Gaines. Both guys have been impressive throughout training camp but Green Bay won’t keep both. Who will emerge?
