1. Christian Uphoff, Safety

The most likely player to sneak his way onto the final roster is Christian Uphoff at safety. Considering he was a complete unknown at the beginning of training camp, that’s quite the surprise accomplishment for the undrafted free agent out of Illinois State.

Uphoff has shown off his great athleticism and desire to make the team throughout the preseason. He’s beaten double teams as the gunner on special teams and is making waves on social media. It would be quite the beginning of a story if he gets a spot on the roster as the fifth safety behind Amos, Savage, Black and Scott.
