Jake Dolegala – QB

Admittedly, this one hinges on whether or not Jordan Love is ready to return to practice, which if he does, then the Green Bay Packers have three healthy quarterbacks just as they did for much of training camp and won’t need a fourth. On Sunday, when speaking with reporters, LaFleur mentioned that they were hoping Love could participate in individual drills on Monday and increase his workload during the week.

Against the Jets, Kurt Benkert was the quarterback for most of that game, with Jake Dolegala not appearing until the very end. He had just one pass attempt that was incomplete.

Josh Avery – IDL

The interior defensive line group is a position that is pretty well established with Kenny Clark, Dean Lowry, Kingsley Keke, and TJ Slaton as roster locks, along with Tyler Lancaster and Jack Heflin battling for what could be the fifth and final roster spot. After these six players, there’s a bit of a dropoff.

With nine interior defensive linemen on the roster, this is a position that Green Bay could stand to lose someone, and with Avery being a training camp addition, my guess is that he could be the first to go–which his playing time suggests as well. In the two preseason games, Avery has been on the field for 14 total defensive snaps and none on special teams, according to PFF ($$).
