1. Kevin King

Kevin King has taken a lot of heat throughout his tenure with the Packers and that only ramped up this offseason. King has struggled to stay healthy throughout his career, but has usually been pretty good when he’s actually on the field. That wasn’t the case, unfortunately, in the NFC Championship game when he gave up a number of big and boneheaded plays. Then he re-signed for a one-year deal and it absolutely drove fans nuts.

Everyone is hoping King has a huge 2021 campaign and gets a big deal on his next contract (most likely from someone other than the Packers). He has competition at starting corner opposite Alexander in first-round pick Eric Stokes. Stokes didn’t play very much in Green Bay’s first preseason game, prompting some to believe he’s already locked up the starting job over King.

King began training camp on the injured list, but has since returned. He’ll need to stay healthy and improve his play on the field to get the job done this season.
