The NFL is all about redemption. Most of the players in the league are working to improve their situations and prove their worth to themselves and their team.

There are three players on the Green Bay Packers, in particular, who are primed to make comebacks in 2021 from either disappointing or injury-filled seasons (or both). So, without further ado, let’s dive in!

These three players for the Green Bay Packers are candidates to bounce back in the 2021 season from a rough 2020 campaign.

3. Josiah Deguara

It’s safe to assume Packers’ head coach Matt LaFleur had big plans for Josiah Deguara in his rookie year. The Packers used a 2020 third-round pick on the tight-end/h-back/fullback and he wasn’t able to produce in his first season due to a torn ACL he suffered in the second game. However, he’s primed to get another big opportunity in year two.

In just one plus games last year, he had 31 snaps, lining up all over the field–17 in the backfield, 10 inline and four in the slot. LaFleur had had nothing but great things to say about Deguara and will likely continue moving him all over the field, using him as an additional blocker mostly and a passing game weapon sometimes. Don’t be surprised to see him on the field a bunch, even with the presence of Robert Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis.
