Packers preseason Game 1 vs Texans: The good, the bad, the grade

The Grades:

The scoreboard was not friendly to the Packers, as they lost by 19 points. However, that really doesn’t matter in these situations considering the primary purpose is to evaluate guys and give them opportunities to improve.

Typically, we’ll be handing out a grade for each unit. For this first exhibition contest, however, we’ll pass on that. It’s all about the process at this point so we’ll use this as a baseline for the next two preseason games. How does the team progress as they get closer to the regular season? Do players learn from their mistakes and use this as a building block? Stay tuned to find out.
