1. Josh Jackson, cornerback
Typically, the team would use training camp and preseason to evaluate a player, deterimine his potential and whether he can play in the NFL or not. However, Green Bay has now had three plus years to assess Josh Jackson, including two plus with this coaching staff.
Saturday night’s preseason game was just more of the same. Jackson unofficially allowed six receptions on seven targets and was always a step or two slow. He just doesn’t have it at this level. Green Bay could quickly decide to move on from their former second-round pick and give other youngsters such as Shemar Jean-Charles, Kabian Ento, and Ka’Dar Hollman more opportunities to shine.
