3. Oren Burks

Oren Burks hasn’t quite been able to find a position in the NFL. He played safety for his first two years in college before moving to linebacker and the Packers hoped to continue that when they selected him in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Unfortunately, he hasn’t been able to find his groove. He’s never really shown an ability to read defenses and fill the gaps like a typical middle linebacker. That forced Green Bay to try him on the outside which hasn’t really worked either.

Burks might be helped by Randy Ramsey’s injury on the edge, but he’s otherwise been just another guy. Green Bay has been improving their depth and unless Burks can become a standout on special teams, his days could be numbered.
