4 potential Packers trade candidates entering 2021 preseason
1. Devin Funchess
Devin Funchess is showing why he racked up over 800 receiving yards back in 2017 with the Carolina Panthers. He’s been a big and reliable target for the Packers’ quarterbacks and is proving his veteran worth with every practice. He’s even been willing to play special teams.
And the better he plays, the better it will be for the Packers. In one way or another.
If Funchess earns a spot on the Packers roster as their sixth receiver, it’s great news for a team who is rich at the position. They could also use his strong preseason to trade him to another wide receiver needy team and gain an extra mid to late-round draft pick in the process.
