Green Bay Packers: 5 Players Whose Stock is on the Rise

De’Vondre Cambell – LB
The late offseason addition of De’Vondre Campbell may have flown a bit under the radar, but it was a move that I was a huge fan of–and while yes, it is early, I’m thrilled to see that it’s paid off up to this point.
Campbell doesn’t do anything flashy, but he provides stability to this linebacker position with the Green Bay Packers. He’s a three-down linebacker who can hold his own in coverage against tight ends and running backs. He’s an effective blitzer, and he can make plays in the run game as well. On top of that, Campbell is durable, having appeared in all 48 games over the last four seasons.
Campbell — along with Krys Barnes — has been the primary linebacker with the starting defense up to this point, and when speaking with reporters on Friday, Matt LaFleur called the veteran linebacker’s play “lights out.”
"“De’Vondre has been lights out. He’s done a great job,” coach Matt LaFleur said via Packers Wire. “I think he’s done a really nice job of picking up what we’re asking him to do at a quick rate. “You can see the instincts that he has, and he’s very, very fluid,” LaFleur said. “There’s been a couple of instances in practice in terms of his ability, whether it’s been as a blitzer or in coverage, he’s a very, very good athlete.”"
