1. Carlo Kemp, Outside linebacker

Outside linebacker has to be one of the hardest positions to crack on this year’s Packers’ roster. Za’Darius Smith, Preston Smith, and Rashan Gary are sure to log all of the regular-season snaps, barring injury. This trio looks poised to wreak havoc on opposing offenses and Barry will find a way to get them most, if not all, of the snaps at outside linebacker.

Behind them, Randy Ramsey and Jonathan Garvin have the clear edge on the rest of the completion to make the final roster. They have experience with the team and the coaching staff is familiar with their skills.

However, Green Bay still has five other outside linebackers currently on their roster (that’s 10 total for those keeping count at home) despite only needing two at a time. The Packers won’t necessarily need this depth moving forward so Carlo Kemp, the undrafted free agent out of Michigan, could be one of the first to go.
