2. Vernon Scott, safety

The Packers would love to consistently employ three safeties on the field at one time. The only issue is they’ve only found two consistently good ones. With Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage locking down two of the safety spots, the Packers are desperate to find a third one who can stay on the field with them.

Vernon Scott is a part of that conversation along with Will Redmond and Henry Black. The only issue is both Redmond and Black are on the non-football injury list to begin training camp which takes them out of the equation.

That means Scott will get every opportunity to prove himself as the Packers’ third safety considering there’s really nobody else on the roster who appears talented enough to make the final roster. Will Scott take advantage of this opportunity?
