3. Pittsburgh Pirates

Another divisional rival, the Pittsburgh Pirates have a couple of big names in Richard Rodriguez, Adam Frazier, and Tyler Anderson that are on the block.

Rodriguez would give Milwaukee another strong bullpen arm on the back end and help make Craig Counsell feel a lot better about the seventh inning. In 38.1 innings this season, Rodriguez has a 2.82 ERA along with a 0.835 WHIP.

Anderson is another player Milwaukee could get in on that would be a cheaper option to add to their starting rotation. Anderson’s ERA is hovering around his career average at 4.35, but his WHIP is a career-best at 1.2. Milwaukee could hope their defensive improvement would allow Anderson to take the next level.
