5. Bryn Forbes declines player option and walks in free agency

Bryn Forbes is in a similar situation as Portis. He has a player option for next season, but his is only worth $2.4 million. He also improved his image this season by shooting the lights out from behind the arc. And although he didn’t play much at all in the NBA Finals, he did prove himself to be a worthy contributor in the first three rounds of the postseason.

Forbes will be able to find more money in free agency and potentially a much larger role with a lesser team. The Bucks will still miss him, but they have a couple of potential outside snipers in second-year pros Sam Merrill and Jordan Nwora waiting in the wings.
