With the 2021 NBA offseason already thrust upon us, the Milwaukee Bucks have a number of critical decisions to make as they look to re-tool for their NBA Championship defense.

There are a number of key players whose Bucks’ future is up in the air including fan-favorite Bobby Portis, three-point shooting extraordinaire Bryn Forbes and dog PJ Tucker–all key cogs in the rotation last season. Milwaukee will also have other free agent decisions to make as well as figure out who to draft in less than a week.

So, without further ado, let’s get a little funky and make seven predictions about how their offseason will play out.

Here are seven bold predictions about all the major decisions the Milwaukee Bucks are facing heading into the 2021 offseason.

7. Bucks tender Thanasis Antetokounmpo

Thanasis Antetokounmpo signed a two-year, veteran minimum contract with the Bucks before the 2019-20 season and is now a free agent heading into this summer. It’s unlikely he’ll draw much (or any) interest from other teams considering Giannis Antetokounmpo is locked up long-term.

However, Milwaukee should want him back. He was a great end-of-the-bench hype and energy guy and appeared to fit in well with the rest of his teammates. Milwaukee can extend a qualifying offer worth just $2.1 million and I expect them to do that.
