2. Elite pitching

Not only does Milwaukee have a trio of elite starting pitchers, but they have a dynamic duo at the backend of their bullpen as well. That’s a good starting place to make a deep postseason run.

Brandon Woodruff, Freddy Peralta and Corbin Burnes are all dominating their opponents every time out on the mound. Their combined 2.19 ERA makes them an extremely tough out in the postseason. The Brewers could potentially rotate the three of them in a seven-game set and keep the opponent’s offense at bay the entire series.

When they leave the game, Devin Williams and Josh Hader can lock up the eighth and ninth innings in tight games. Williams and Hader are one of the best one-two punches in all of baseball. If Milwaukee could add one more great bullpen arm or another solid starter, it will really increase their chance to catch one of the four teams ahead of them.
